Home Instead is hiring Caregivers (Care Professionals) in the Dallas area. The office offers non-medical home care services for older adults who require assistance with activities of daily living but wish to stay in their own homes.
Full time caregivers wanted for new openings. We would like to see that you have some experience in caring for others, but we will also consider those with the right attitude and a willingness to learn for any open positions. Selected candidates will receive paid training at the local office.

Annual Salary Range: $38,000 - $49,000 per year
Daily Work
Each caregiver provides direct care to seniors in their homes. Number of clients and working schedule as determined by business needs and client care plans.
Typical duties involve:
- Dress and get ready for the day with clients.
- Provide assistance with bathing and personal hygiene as required.
- Preparing breakfast, lunch or dinner.
- Buying groceries and running essential errands.
- Light housekeeping, laundry and kitchen cleaning.
- Companion for home visits.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments when needed.
- Care activities documented at the end of each visit.
- Reporting obvious health or safety concerns to the office.
Every client has a care plan, so the responsibilities can vary from assignment to assignment.
Minimum Requirements
Before applying, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- High school diploma
- Must be 21 years of age at this site.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Dependable personal transportation.
- Must pass background check and drug screening.
- Basic reading, writing and speaking skills in English.
- Must be able to travel to client homes within service area.
Experience
We welcome applications from candidates who have held any of the following positions:
- Caregiver Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Personal Support Worker/Senior Care Assistant
Even if you have no experience as a caregiver, if you have cared for family members or if you have good communication and interpersonal skills during the interview, then you could still hired.
Physical Requirements:
The role requires movement regularly throughout the day. Candidates should be comfortable with tasks like:
- Walking through the client's home.
- Standing for a long time.
- Getting our clients from point A to point B safely.
- Groceries, or light household supplies.
- bending, reaching and lifting as required.
Schedule of Work
Schedules are provided based on client needs.
Possible shifts might be:
- Morning
- Afternoon
- Evening
- Night
- Weekend
Full-time caregivers usually have a set weekly schedule, but depending on client needs, extra hours may be possible.
