Waiter / Waitress - Morrison Living (Compass Group), $35.00 per hour

Morrison Living is part of Compass Group, one of the largest hospitality companies in the USA and they are run dining services across senior living communities, healthcare facilities, and corporate dining venues nationwide.Now, Morrison Living is hiring Waiters and Waitresses at multiple locations, with both full time and part time shifts available and immediate starts at most sites.

The dining environments here are a bit different from a regular restaurant. You're serving residents, guests, and community members in settings where consistency and friendliness matter a lot. The pace is steady — not as chaotic as a busy downtown restaurant — but attention to detail and people skills are just as important.
No prior experience is required at several locations. They're willing to train the right person.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet guests
• Clearly display menus and describe daily specials & menu items
• Accurately record food and beverage orders and enter into the kitchen.
• Serve food and beverage in a timely manner and follow up to ensure guest satisfaction
• Process cash and card payments through the POS system
• Keep your section clean and tables set properly throughout your shift.
• Work with kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service
• Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures at all times during every shift

Skills Required

• Good communication and a friendly, approachable manner with guests
• Able to multitask — taking orders, serving, and keeping your section tidy at the same time
• Comfortable on your feet for most of the shift
• Works well as part of a team
• Basic math for handling payments and change
